Certificate in Sustainable Practice (Level 5)
Dates: 6th May- 20th September 2013.
This is a full time course, made up of block courses, face to face teaching and lots of practical work on your own project.
The ethics and principles of permaculture design are combined with a framework for strategic
sustainable development to create an action-focused, transformational programme. This
programme will empower you with the tools, ideas and vision to make clear choices about purpose and actions. You’ll learn sustainable principles and frameworks and how to apply them to your project, organisation or business.
Successful students will gain a permaculture design certificate and a level 5 certificate from Otago Polytech.
The block courses will be held at Awhi farm, Turangi. There will be face to face sessions every week. Exactly how much you study privately and how much face to face will be agreed between you and the tutors.
